    NOTIFICATION​


    INTERVIEW FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF DEMONSTRATOR/ R.M.O cum CLINICAL TUTOR UNDER W.B.M.E.S.​

    APPLICATIONS IN PRESCRIBED PROFORMA ARE INVITED FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS OF DEMONSTRATORS / RMO CUM CLINICAL TUTORS IN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES IN THE WEST BENGAL MEDICAL EDUCATION SERVICE.​

    PAY SCALE: Demonstrator / RMO cum Clinical Tutor: Pay band - 4A: Pay band scale -Rs.15,600/- 42,000/- plus Grade pay: Rs.5400/-

    Note: Non-practising Allowance is admissible for persons opting for such terms @ 30% of the basic pay and will be taken into account for computing Dearness Allowance, Entitlement of Travelling Allowance / Daily Allowance, Retirement benefits and House Building Loan. The posts of DEMONSTRATORS / RMO CUM CLINICAL TUTORS in different disciplines in the West Bengal Medical Education Service shall be strictly in non-practising terms.

    Selected candidates shall be liable to be appointed and subsequently transferred to any Medical Teaching Institution in West Bengal.

    QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST OF DEMONSTRATOR / RMO CUM CLINICAL TUTOR

    A. Essential: MBBS degree only for Pre & Para Clinical Disciplines, Post Graduate degree for Clinical Broad Speciality Disciplines in the subject concerned (D.A/M.D for Anaesthesiology) and Post Doctoral Degree is desirable for Super Speciality Disciplines in the subject concerned acquired from the Universities of West Bengal or in accordance with the regulations made by the Medical Council of India and included in the First or Second or Third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).

    B) Desirable: Publication of Research Papers in the journals listed in the Index Medicus or in the journal at the National Level of the National level Academic Organization.

    AGE: Not more than 45 years as on the 1st day of January 2012 relaxable for candidates of the West Bengal Health Services for a period of five years.

    RESERVATION FOR S.C, S.T & OBC CANDIDATES: The benefits of reservation of vacancies shall be available strictly as per existing Government rules or orders and upper age concession shall be restricted up to five years i.e. maximum up to 50(fifty) years.

    GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES:​


    1. The qualification prescribed in this advertisement is as per the notified regulation of Medical Council of India in 1998, published in Part III, Section-4 of the Gazette of India dated 5th December 1998 and the West Bengal Medical Education service (Recruitment to teaching posts) Rules, 1997 as amended from time to time.

    2. All candidates should be registered as medical practitioner with the West Medical Council / Medical Council of India.

    3. All candidates are required to submit all authenticated documents pertaining to proof of age, SC/ST/ reservation status, all mark sheets, chance certificates of MBBS Examination, Registration Certificate, Mark sheet /certificate along with date of publication of results of Post graduate and postdoctoral qualifications, Xerox copies / reprints of original publication in journals, teaching/ Service experience claimed or any other relevant document at the time of verification.

    4. No benefits / claims for any qualifications / experiences shall be admitted unless the same are supported by authenticated documentary evidence.

    5. Candidates need to fill up the prescribed proforma in duplicate addressed to the Director of Medical Education, West Bengal; applications would be received from 20th July, 2012 from 11 am. to 4 p.m in each working days up to 24th August 2012 in the Office of ADME-II at 4th Floor of the A-Wing of Swasthya Bhawan.

    6. The schedule of interview will be notified in the web-site <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.wbhealth.qov.in">www.wbhealth.qov.in</a><!-- w --> (Notice -jobs & appointments). Individual interview call letters will not be issued, and candidates need to appear for interview at least half an hour before as per schedule laid down in the above website. Candidates may also contact the Deputy Director/Assistant Director of Medical Education in person or over telephone (+91-33-23330-503 / +91-33-23330-621 respectively) t:eek: obtain details of the interview schedule.

    7. the vacancy position detailed herein is iiabie to change without any intimation to the applicants.

    8. Separate applications need to be furnished for each discipline.

    9. Application fees: A Demand Draft of Rs 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only), drawn in favour of “West Bengal State Health and Family Welfare Samiti", payable at Kolkata, must be furnished along with each application. However, applicants belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD Categories will be exempted from paying such application fees.

    10. Schedule date of interview from 3rd September to 8th September,2012 from 10.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m.

    11. Venue Institute of Health & Family Welfare, Ground Floor, within the campus of Swasthya Bhawan.

    12. Duly filled up proforma with photocopy of all supportive documents to be submitted in the Office Of ADME-II at 4th Floor of the A wing Of Swasthya Bhawan from 20th July,2012 from 11 am. to 4 p.m in each working days up to 24th August 2012.
