10 years service completion increment

acc to G.O. from 1st July-1st January 10/20/18 yrs incremental enhancement will b on the date of entitlement.
from 2nd January-30th June that will b on 1st July, you will get your benefit on 09.12.13
You wrote in your earlier post that your joining date nd increment date r not same,why that so?What d you mean by that?
Your joining date is 9.12.03,you'v completed M.SC on 9.02.04,on nd from that date you entered new scale with change of basic,but why should your date of increment changed?was not it should b on 1.12. in every year till pay fixation?
More over first day of every month should b the date of increment irrespective of date of joining( before fixation on1st July) then what abt 9.02?
plz clear my doubt, friend.In case of school u must b alert,its all abt "comedy of errors"

Thanks for pointing that out. I was wrong on one count, before my M.Sc. Scale, I received my increment on the 1st December every month, but once my scale was enhanced to M.Sc. and the pay was fixed on 1st February every year, the school informed that as per D.I.'s instruction, my new increment date would be 1st of February every year instead of December.
Was it done wrong? Please clarify, because in that case I have lost a good amount of money, more so when I consider that I lost one increment during pay fixation as per latest ROPA.

I dont think it was wrong. The fixation was made as per ROPA, 1998 and if you had given option to have the benefit on and from the date of your next increment, it might be fixed on the next December but I think it would not be beneficiary for you. It was better to fix your pay on February.
Now lets see what is written in WBS ROPA, 1998:

(iii) the next increment in the higher post shall fall due after completion of twelve months of qualifying service from the date of refixation of pay .

Therefore, Your date of increment is rightly fixed on February as the same was fallen under the rules of W.B.S. (ROPA), 1998.
