@ Biku Sir:
Thank you for being so proactive and sharing your experience. Your description of event of things further vindicates my apprehension that a large number of school teachers are not getting their legitimate dues from PF account at the time of their retirement. I further want to add that Govt. should stop its funds to the delinquent schools unless school authorities submit an up to date PF Account for all in service teachers, duly audited by qualified auditors at the end of each financial year. With paper records of details of subscription available and with a little help of free softwares- like the one uploaded by our young friend Som in this forum, the schools can always make a fresh start. With a little goodwill and sense of responsibility it should be like breeze once started.
I urge every one of you to encourage this culture wherever and in whatever way possible.
@ Som: You deserve a nice and tight hug of gratitude for your selfless act of uploading the nice software for GPF. It was but for your software I could not confidently make the the above statement. One point of concern remains though,- Please do not demand copyright fees from teachers for using this software.

I appreciate your way of thinking. Lets start things afresh to put our future on a concrete.

Lol Kaushik  , You seems to me a nice guy. Its my pleasure to help the people of my Mother Land as far as possible and thats why I tried to make various utilities and forms in excel. I could well be a silent follower and user of the products created by others but when I found many errors and criticality to use them, I decided to make something new and share them. Its most important what we give and its less important what we gain and all counts at the end. This kind of hugs are very much encourageous to me and its the best reward for me. Thanks a lot my dear friend for such appreciations and lotsa love & respect for you.

I would like to share a very hearty piece of information with all the members and viewers of this forum, specially teachers. First the background: When I noticed that School teachers do not get their GPF balance/account statement every year whereas all other employees working with the Govt. of West Bengal get it and preserve them till retirement, it seemed very odd to me. Next I asked the HM of the School. He just laughed at my question and brushed the topic off showing unconcerned senior colleagues who are not at all worried about the statement despite them being at the verge of retirement. The HM also told that no such system exists in the school where he worked as an AT before he got selected as HM. Then on a chanced encounter with the concerned SI/S I asked the same question. But the officer seemed similarly ignorant and added that no school under her jurisdiction give such account to the subscribers.
At this point, I, kind of got disheartened but not frustrated and continued my search.Till I landed up in this forum I could not progress further. I was however became aware that there must be some rule to govern this fund and that should certainly have such provisions for the subscribers. A Head Mistress from a secondary school in a rural area of Malda Distt- whom I met in a Biye Bari, told she is giving such statements to all the ATs in her school. Since we were both away from our respective homes in that marriage ceremony, I could not take the copies of the rule positions.
After posting my topic here and getting sincere replies from wbxpress, complete with the relevant rules- I took a print out of this discussion board and armed with it encountered the HM around 15 days back.
And after that the HM saw logic in my argument and Today in a meeting with all staff members he announced that from this year onwards he will start giving Annual Account Statements to all members.
Sorry for the log post describing a personal achievement. As such, I just wanted to share with everybody how much impact this forum can make and how easy it is to get armed with the rules in this forum as long as knowledgeable friends like admin, som, Biku and Sri AB Pal are around here.
Thank you ASKWB Forum!!! Keep contributing. Together we can make a lot of changes.

Dear Kaushik. I would like to give you 5 points for this post if it was possible by the system. You are awesome. What a great achievement!!! You not only made us proud but also very emotional. We shall try to publish this post in wbxpress.com for wide publication ( better searchable through google) to aware the school teachers regarding their right to have G.P.F account slip for every financial year. This will also help them to be assured about their current balance and take necessary steps if any erroneous calculation observed. Lastly I appreciate your efforts to make this forum such unique and thanks for being so much active. Lets invite others too.
