As per the latest norms the age of a student at time admission to class IX should be about three months less than 14 years at most (May be lesser). Unless one student fulfills the said criteria he or she may face problems in case of applying for registration for Madhyamik Examination. Technically, there is no any maximum age-limit bar for that purpose. But one must see to it so that the age of one particular student doesn't seem awkward in respect of the average age of the other students of the same academic session. Generally, it is kept under 16 years.
