Teacher Eligibility Test - 2015, Upper Primary Level - To Be Held on 30th Aug, 2015

    A Candidate having qualifications as follows-
    1. HS in science stream(physics, chemistry, math, bio-science)
    2. graduation- hons in English (Bengali and philosophy as elective subjects)
    3. B.ed special education (RCI recognized) Bengali and Science as method paper
    4. MA- English
    The candidate sat for ssc tet upper primary with the group science and mathematics and qualifies. Is he actually eligible with this group or he had to opt for social science group? will his candidature be cancelled during verification or he can apply for language group as a tet qualified trained person?

    (c) Educational Qualification: Persons having the following educational qualification are eligible for appearing in TET.
    Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
    Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    OR
    Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    OR
    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    OR
    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    OR
    Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
    OR
    Graduation with at least 50% marks as per relaxation given by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of School Education and Literacy) vide notification number S.O. 918(E) dated 1st April ,2015, which was published in the Gazette of India on 1st April 2015)
    Note D :
    (iv) The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Mathematics & Science.
    10. Examination structure and content : TET 2015 For Upper Primary Level .
    No. of MCQs -150. Duration of Examination : one – and – a – half hours
    Paper Name Full Marks Question Type Duration Nature of marking
    i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory). 30 30 MCQs 1 hour and 30 minutes 1 MCQ question carry 1 mark
    ii) Language I (compulsory) . 30 30 MCQs
    iii) Language II (compulsory). 30 30 MCQs
    iv) (a)For Mathematics and Science Teacher :
    Mathematics and Science –
    60 60 MCQs
    (b) For Social Studies Teacher : Social Studies – 60 60MCQs
    (c) For Any Other Teacher – either (a) or (b) 60 60 MCQs

    after considering the above matter, I can say that his candidature may not be cancelled during verification. Because nowhere is mentioned that to be a Mathematics and Science Teacher, candidate would be a graduate in Science due to be a teacher of UP ( up to class VIII), He may be consider as Any Other Teacher - either (a) or (b)
    You may find in the case of appointment for IX to XII, this condition might be mentioned.

  4. i applied in 1st SLST in march 2016 and also do the payment in Aallhabad branch.now the recent advertisement, i have also applied as existing,but payment in payment option,its shows that fees is due and application is provisionally submitted.so what can i do now?please help
